On my Electra I fitted Barkbusters to protect the control levers when I fell over, usually from stationary. Has anyone fitted lever protectors on a Meteor? I ask before I faff about trying to cobble something together.

The handguards arrived and are fitted. I just used the existing end caps as spacers with 50mm x 6mm bolts. Later I may turn up some neater spacers but I need to get a lathe first and I can't afford it. Meanwhile they work, they look good and were cheap. Photos later.
