I just got the email, this purchase, after 6 days, has finally shipped.

Any bets that they'll cancel the order and issue a refund because they forgot to raise the price 38% like everything else? I've had that happen to 2 other orders from separate vendors, one on Amazon and one on eBay. When I go to order another prices have gone up, wtf.

And why does autocorrect try to change wtf into etc or wth?
Eph-Yoo Autocorrect!
You apparently got the last one from this vendor. There will probably be a glut of demand in the next few days which will severely stoke higher prices.

I'm going to hang on to my "INT" side panels. I might need them if and when I trade the bike in at a dealership here in the US. I'm thinking that maybe the "Interceptor" side panels might be a legal problem for them when they go to sell it given that Honda has the copywrite in the US.

And finally after another 9 days the cheapest knock-off go pro thumbscrew on EBay has finally arrived. I didn't think it'd take that long from the PNW by USPostal.

Now if this snow would melt and temps would keep above freezing at night, I'd break the INT out of hibernation.
I wound up buying a set from Amazon as they were heavily discounted and comparable to your vendor. Then a few nylon washers from my local hardware store. Yeah, I hear you on the ride. We keep getting the odd winter blast but soon a steady rain will wash that sand off the road. All the way to Laconia. I can pack a thumbscrew if you need one.

Thanks but it showed up a day later than expected, and a week later it looks like they refunded the purchase too.

I'm waiting for a few days of rain before I break my bike out. I've got maintenance to do as well. We're just finally seeing overnight temps consistently above freezing.

Direct from India, "Interceptor" side covers. It bugs me that the US models are "INT", so I got these. I didn't ride the Orangesickle to the shop this morning, but I'm going home to get it later. I'll post a photo with these on later.

These are P/N 1030065/C (LH) and 1030067/C (RH). Bought them on eBay. $60.53 delivered to Mayberry.

Take THAT, Honda!

I know, right? I do enjoy that RE has a bike called Thunderbird. Triumph had leased the name from Ford for a time, I'm not sure how RE is able to use the name in their home market but I'm sure they're going about it the right way.
I didn't know there was a RE T-Bird in the home market. Neat!

As far as going about it the right way, well ... who knows. I can't imagine what it would be like to sue a corporation in the Chennai district court.

Bentley went after Porsche in 1955 when Max Hoffman imported the 356 to the U.S. badged as "Continental."
I wonder if they've bothered with Royal Enfield for using the name. Or Ford for that matter.

Speaking of Forbidden Nectar, and putting home-market parts on our U.S.-market Interceptors, I said I wouldn't spend any more money on non-functional, appearance-only parts for this bike.

However, the more non-U.S. videos I watch about the bike, the more I dig the rectangular turn signals over the frumpy round signals the U.S. bikes have. Nobody else but me will ever notice, but my other two bikes have round signals, let's make this bike a little different.

Pretty much a whim. There was a set of four listed with a “make offer” option. I made an offer and didn’t hear back for a while so I sort of forgot about them. This morning there’s an eBay message saying my offer was accepted, pay now.

So, we’ll see. Might make for a fun rainy day project.

Care to share the seller's ID?

“Royal Enfield king” on eBay.

The listed price is $55 for the set, but since I bought, I see a set listed for $49 claiming to be OEM parts.
