I installed the leather wrapped levers on my bike as soon as I could. I didn't want to leave them on my bedroom dresser for too long. Someone may get the wrong idea (kinky). They are totally awesome looking flying in the wind ;-) The footpad didn't stay on for very long. There are ways to mount it more securely, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. There is a thread discussing various ways to fasten the footpad on. One person drilled, tapped, and bolted it on. That may be the way I go with it too ;-)

Bling for the Meteor.
3D printed bits, Brake Res. cover, Clutch lever cover with decal, Crank case inserts 'bling', RE decals on all the black plug ends.
Not shown plugs on the axle end with decals.
Tacho instal, no tripper as standard in Aust, so fills the gap.
Key ring disc, double sided, black/silver on reverse.
Bling it on.

Out of interest, 'cos I fitted a Daytona tacho to my classic, how do you get the signal ? Have you tapped into the coil feed or wrapped a lead round the plug lead ?
I currently have the signal lead wrapped around the plug lead but I was thinking of tapping the coil feed originally before I bottled out due to warranty issues.

The tac that @60muzz has pictured looks like the Daytona Velona60. I cannot find installation instructions online, but I did find this note at one retailer:
This is a widely used tachometer as the pulse signal can be picked up from the ignition coil, HT lead (TCI and CDI-ignited) and the pulse can be picked up from the ECU where applicable and compatible. Generally, the tachometer can be mounted regardless of the engine type or displacement as long as it is within the PPR range allowable (PPR = Pulse Per Revolutions).
Interesting ;-)

Yes, the Tacho is a Daytona Velona 60, pulse pick up is from the plug lead, there are extra lead extensions included for switched ignition, battery pos and battery neg plus an extra neg, used that as pulse pick up, wound 10 times around the lead and secured with zip tie. Picked up the positives and negative from the EURO 4 plug, mine also has a EURO 5 plug, but getting a connector for the 4 was easier.
Tacho swap with Tripper will allow you to use the tripper wiring, plug is behind the headlight, has the switched ign and battery pos and neg , plug is the stumbling block, no one appears to be able to identify it, it is a 6 pin 2 row micro plug, tiny, with only the three bottom pins used. But if the swap is to be permanent ( warranty issues aside) then can be cut and replugged with a 3 pin plug readily available, would save going back to the battery area as I did. Only found the unused tripper plug on mine after I had fitted it.
I purchased the tacho out of England, AU$135.80 delivered, from www.digital-speedos.co.uk, they were much dearer here in AUS.

I almost forgot to add a road bell
I went with Buddhist prayer flags since the bike was made in India.
They fold up and fit nicely behind the tool roll. (3"x 3 1/4"x 1/8" thick)
On holidays, they take them out & string them between the mirrors/handlebars.

The Tripper connector is a PCB connector and there is no male side connector available according to Caffeine Racer who kindly furnished me with loads of information when I did the tacho on the Classic. I've used Digital Speedos a number of times and they are also a very helpful bunch.

I started collecting bling before I even got the bike.
It came with crash bars, tall screen, tripper, touring saddle and I have rear rack and saddlebag, tail tidy, DNA air filter retainer, alloy gear shifter and adjustable tiebar, chrome light peaks and grip wind deflectors.

There must be a connector that fits, the Tripper would have the corresponding 6 pin 2 row male plug pins on it, may not be purchasable on its own but surely the complete plug can be bought and the redundant female side discarded, just need to identify what the plug is and where it can be bought. Difficult bit.
Pic is the bike side of the tripper plug, male with female contacts, just need its mate and everyone can chuck their Tripper and fit a Tacho easily wiring wise.
