Hi to all!
Yesterday I brought home 2019 Himalayan. Previous owner bought it for his wife, even installed lowering links. Didn't work as planned - lucky me :D
So...
  • I have 2 sets of Givi paniers (E21 and E36) on my Honda NC700X and I would like to use them on my Himalayan too (at least for the moment). Only model I found is this PL9050 on Givi website. I can't see the rack very well, but I saw couple videos with racks like THIS one.
    Any comments?
  • Heard couple complains about the sidekick is to tall. I had similar issue with one of my older bikes. Where to order shorter sidekick? Where do you order stuff anyway?
  • Need suggestion for a fuse box
  • GPS mount. I like THIS one but it's a bit on expensive side. Open for any suggestion...
  • Need handguards. Open for any (cheap) suggestion... :D
Thanks for any help,
Afan

If you have a competent local GIVI reseller, they should be able to guide you with what's available for the HImmy. They make topbox brackets and "tanklock" flanges specifically for the Himalayan which I have, so I'm certain they have pannier brackets for your GIVi panniers too. Seen many Himmy with Givi panniers.

GPS mount plenty of India based sellers on eBay. Mind you they're quite short so if you mount your phone vertically it won't fit.

Plenty of generic handguards out there. Problem with them are the inner handle bar mounts. They're missing an adjustable elbow found on stupid expensive barkbusters. So to fit them you need to grind them down to the angle they fit correctly. If you have a grinder and some common sense it's quite easy.

Hey Afan, welcome to the forum.

For my 2020 Himalayan I bought there 6 way fuse box and relay. It can be a little tight under the seat, but I found a youtube video that provides a clear way to more or less fit everything quite well under the main seat.

I'm currently running spotlights, cheap heated grips from Aliexpress and it works beautifully.

Good luck!

For a GPS mount I also tried a similar one to the one you have, but it shook too much.

In the end, I ended up getting a phone mount and so far it works nice.
