Thanks for the add.
Welcome. Where in NC?
I have not gotten the bike yet but I am looking for more remote routes to bring it home. Most of my riding has been across VT NH Ma , I just looked that up and it looks awesome. I’m not an advanced rider . I am hoping to Vlog the trek though . I’ve seen bikes in NC, Fla and Maine but I kind of want the experience too. Just afraid to blow up a new machine with all the miles up front.Island hop,
Have you tried any sections of the NEBDR with the Himalayan.
I’m shooting for new, that’s my concern.Hello and welcome to the forum. Are you going to buy a new bike or a used Himalayan?
How many miles will you put on the bike to get it home?Thank You , Creswell .

That’s what I have to plan might be from Fla to NH or NC to NH in any case 800–1000+ likely using secondary roads or some of RT 1 coastal routeHow many miles will you put on the bike to get it home?
Can you do it without any freeway miles?
In that case I would make plans to pick up your new bike first thing in the morning, than put the 300 miles on the bike that day and have your dealer do the first service the next morning. Then ride it home. I have done this on a number of bikes and it’s worked out well for me. You can also usually work out a better deal on your first service also. That’s what I have to plan might be from Fla to NH or NC to NH in any case 800–1000+ likely using secondary roads or some of RT 1 coastal route
