Problem with rear tire sizes (for knobbies)

Hi to all!
I plan to buy knobbies for my Himalayan, and, so far, I have two brands in my mind.
Shinko E-804 (front) & 805 (rear) combination. The front tire is the exact size, but they don't have a rear one in 120/90-17 size. They have 130/80-17 and I think it should be ok, but need the "confirmation".
They have though 705 in 120/90-17 size, but it's not exactly a "knobby", right? (Disclaimer: I'm newbie in the off-roading - that's why I bought a Himalayan)

Second option is Continental TKC80. It's very similar situation: there is 90/90-21 but the "closest" size for rear is 120/70B-17?

Opinion? Suggestions?

Thanks,
Afan

Should be plenty of room for 130/80, but actual tire diameter may be different than that link shows. This varies by manufacturer, you would need to find the tire's spec sheet for accuracy.

I looked up the Shinko E804/E805 spec sheet. Keep in mind you need a tube-type tire, and 130/80 is listed as tubeless:

Maybe those aren't the best option for you. However, I think a better alternative exists in the form of Tusk Dsport, this thread was posted bout a week ago:

I looked up those tires and they look like a fantastic deal. They are tube-type, appear to have good street durability despite being very knobby, and are quite inexpensive. Reviews are quite favorable on them. Here's a link to Rocky Mountain ATV's page on the tire:

Hope this helps!

I'm fond of the 804/805.
