What have you done to or how's your Scram 411 recently?

Wacky. I wonder if that was more lack of dealer setup? My Interceptor was virtually perfect when I picked it up. Even the rear tire was straight and the chain was the proper tension. The Scram, not so much. Rear tire was totally crooked, chain was tight. Other than that, it was pretty much ok.
When I bought my Continental GT, I specifically talked to the dealer to make sure everything is set for a 4 hour ride, and was pleasantly surprised that just like yours, rear wheel was straight, chain was good, oil was not overfilled, and tire pressures where on the money. Kudos to them. The jammed bushing on the left silencer was a factory assembly job I'd imagine. Scram had a lot more issues... All the more reason to do the work yourself though!

What's a promo package??
When I bought it last year, the Scram had a prmo package OR cheaper financing. I took the package, financed it for a month or so, then paid it off when I sold a bike.
I think it included a jacket that didn't fit my fat ass even though i ordered a 2X. Come to find out European sizes run very small. A pair of light duty gloves which I really like, The small crash bars and the hand guards. IThey were havong a heck of a time moving Scrams when they first came out, at least out here.

Hey.... I'm just glad the red I got at Lowes was close enough...:p
Right? Better color-matching than I did with the aluminum Deadpool emblems I bonded to the sides of my engine case.

Sac-area lowlanders know not to get too purdy with the baubles tho. Why? They'll be covered with bugs within 100 miles

Since I got the promo package with my Scram (finally), it came with the hand guards. The gray wasn't doing it for me so I shot them red today. Here's a before and after. Again, "close enough".
Well done. I've been trying to find a way to get a bit more yellow on my Graphite Yellow bike without going completely over the top. I usually only run the guards in the colder months, but this is a great little splash of color. Well done! Did it go something like mask, sand, prime, and paint? Any clear coat, or just a gloss finish?

Thanks! It went "unscrew the plastic parts from the metal bars. Clean with oil and crud remover, hang, spray." The yellow would look nice on your bikes color scheme.

This is what I did after seeing Ph1234450's post. You'll need to make a bracket.....and make sure you bend it so the license plate is WAY up or your rear tire will eat it. Ask me how I know......
that looks really good, i'm gonna have to try this now that i have the Denali Analog Signal Pods.
